About Us
UgoSunday Foundation (USF) is a 2016 recipient of the US Congressional Recognition Award for women’s empowerment and community development. It was established in 2013 as an approved 501(c) (3) non-profit charity Organization. UgoSunday is a volunteer-based organization that raises funds through charity events, donations, and contributions by members and participants. The Foundation was formed to address some of the challenges outlined in the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4, and 5, which support and empower women at risk and in poverty. Education is our main tool for empowerment, as we believe that knowledge is power.
As a proud sponsor of the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 conferences on the status of women of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations, UgoSunday is also a registered member in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) Civil Society Database. UgoSunday is poised to uphold her Mission, Vision, and Values.
